Occupational Therapy:

Is the art and science of directing man’s
participation in selected task to restore, reinforce, and enhance
performance, facilitate learning of these skills and functions essential for
adaptation and productivity, diminish or correct pathology and to promote
and maintain health. Its fundamental concern is the development and
maintenance of the capacity throughout the life span, to perform with
satisfaction for self and others, those task and roles essential to
productive living and to the master of self and environment (AOTA, AJOT:
26 204-205, 1975).
OT deals with teaching our clients the life skills
they lost after the result of an injury or disease. This includes
re-learning activities of daily living. In KVPTC, we are proud to inform
you that our approach is “client-centered”. We believe that priority of
